I have only read a few of the reviews, so I am not sure if there is anyone else out there who agrees with me: this show has some issues. To me, the issues are three-fold: #1, it is too SLOW and also repetitive - e.g., clips are shown as introductions to the show, and then you hear and see that clip again during the main part of the program - this technique makes the stories boring, along with the extreme slow pace of the program; #2 the constantly repeated question from the host, "How does this make you feel?" "How does learning this make you feel?" over and over and OVER! - 3-4 times so far in the Michael Douglas edition (which I stopped watching, in spite of a clearly charming Michael Douglas!); and #3 and the switching back and forth between guests - e.g., a slow introduction, then focus on one subject, then introduction of the other guest, and back and forth again and again. How about an in-depth interview with one guest and then do the other? I've occasionally watched this show over many years, and always felt the same - but this is the first time I've reviewed it. I hope some of the producers or directors will discuss these issues with the host, and help him improved the presentation! PS Clearly, the research that is done is amazing! That part is handled very well.
