the show completely misses the mark. the book is an incredible comedy told in vignettes that slowly bleed together beautifully. the show takes far too many liberties with the relationships of the characters and settings, creating connections that decimate the story structure and dynamic that had been masterfully laid out by wolfe in the book. a very disappointing and midwit interpretation of the story- not worth the watch
