This show tries so hard to be funny through deadpan quirkiness but goes too far toward absurdity and not far enough into character development. For black comedy to be successful it needs both realistic relevancy in the conflicts it creates + an affectionate approach when giving us insight into its characters. The writing was too scathing of all of its characters to be compelling. Watched to the third episode and stopped at the tedious, utterly boring bridge scene that made no sense.
