It is sad to see a once entertainment giant loses its intergrity and the foundation that made them great. The series felt like Disney is the depicted “Force” with their executives as the corrupted Jedi turning to the Dark Side. The original trilogy mesmerized us fans with its simple good vs evil, the Rebels, led by a farm boy, a loose cannon, and a young lost princess, overcoming their weakness, working with each other, defeat an evil empire. Just the start of this episode has no such ideology, and it is difficult to image how parents can watch with their kids. There is no moral story to tell. What Disney built on was years and years of great titles which a child can grow up with. The latest SW seems to focus on adult related themes. 10 or 20 years from now, no one will care about their productions because they loses the continuity. It is such a travesty.
