As much as I’ve always enjoyed Meg Ryan’s romantic comedy type genres, I regret that I can’t say the same for this one. I started out anticipating it would get better. It never did. It never took off, just like the stranded planes in the story. If anyone could have made that movie work, it could have been Meg Ryan. Sorry to say it was probably the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had of a movie. Boring with a capital “B”. I went to see this with a friend in the first day it opened. Some how word must have spread quickly that this wasn’t worth seeing. My friend and I were the only two people in the theater!
