IMPLAUSIBLE DETAILS!
We really started liking this show... but we watched our taped episode 10 last night "into the wild" and it finally broke the camel's back.
1. Being from the PNW it becomes almost distracting that no matter where he goes they have the climate and vegetation of SW British Columbia.
2. We can kinda forgive the unlikely ability to track every cell phone anytime, anywhere and in a very quick fashion (like CSI episodes getting DNA results overnight). But there is a limit.
3. But this last episode has him using his cell phone from the Idaho wilderness. We live in the area. You get 5 miles outside of any established town and forget it! It's why we carry a satellit communicator when we go camping.
4. A couple times a year it seems we get word of a plane going down in the forests (we live in Washingotn State) and the amount of man power poured into search and rescue is phenominal. But, no, here it is left to Colter Shaw to do the searching.
We like the characters, and the overall plots. But the details become too distracting to enjoy.
