The story lept through points. Missed soooo much character development. Somehow characters just knew each others backstory! And the water and sharks in the arena. I mean. Wtf! The scenery and filmography was awesome. But the whole movie was flat and had little depth. But the hero will arrive in time! Spoiler - three fights and he has the crowd, all the other gladiators, all the guards!!!! I feel like a few things got skipped.

This movie had plot holes I could drive a tractor through! It was pointless and really put a sad perspective on Australia or surf culture. Spoiler - I mean all he needed to do was go into town with the multitude of lifts offered, including his own car! So many stupid choices. And he was watching young kids on the beach with binoculars like an old perve! This is not normal.
