I have always wondered why there is no mention of the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem in the New Testament, now I'm convinced it was because it hadn't happened yet. The book of Revelation now comes together without all the mystery. It even ties together some of the puzzles of the synoptic gospels. Most people will never be convinced but if they read this book it won't be because there wasn't sufficient evidence put before them. The question should be how did we ever accept the later dates and why.
