Every 2K NBA game since 2K17 has been progressively worse....I love basketball and the nuances of the game but the developers clearly developed this game to completely demoralize you and make it to where if you want any enjoyment out of the game you have to spend a weeks wages on VC to upgrade your player to be somewhat competitive. Even worse after you level up your player and you are playing in Career mode you still get handled by CPUs with 75 OVR. If there was ever a dev team that didn’t listen to the customers it’s 2K..you guys make Activision and Rockstar look like saints…really if you’re going to require people to pay out the a$$ to be able to even be competitive in the game then why don’t you just make the game free to download?

The game is complete trash 2K23 will most likely be the same way…on my career mode you can’t drive the lane with out the cpu doing an immediate double team. You can’t drive on anyone with out getting jammed..you start in college and no matter which college you go to you end up playing against Gregor Malvin or Wyatt Ervin both are made up characters by 2K and they are alway better than you no matter what class you create they will always stomp you in to the ground. After you get to the NBA most likely as a late round pick you have to “prove yourself” and that you can play. 3pts??? Forget about it no matter how open you get if there is another player closing in you are 99% guaranteed to miss the shot. You can pay for VC if you want to or you just grind and get VC crumbs from the game. I’m almost positive that 2K made the game this way so people would do micro transactions. I wouldn’t waste your money on the game and 2K23 will probably be the same way. Heavily influenced by corporate corruption. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH…DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
