Ponniyan Selvan movie is to be a iconic movie in the Tamil Cinema industry, because after 72 years also , this Ponniyan Selvan novel doesn,t loose its courage. 2. Ponniyan Selvan movie brings the non-theater going persons also to theater today to see the movie and this movie is a pride to the cinema industry. 3.I had seen this movie 2 times in theater and i had seen so many of the persons in theater who are above 60 years of age. This is the victory for Ponniyan Selvan movie because it brings non-going theater persons to the theater. 4.Most of the persons are giving negative reviews for this movie, because they didn't understand the characters in this movie , my suggestion is please watch the movie in theater for atleast 2 times orelse you can hear audio book of this version in youtube by jenis amalraj who had clearly explained this full book in 3.30 hrs and then go to theater. 5.Please. Don't compare this movie with the other historic fiction movies. Because each movie has their own genre. 6.All the artists had given their best in this movie and we couldn't judge who is better and all. And also in this movie there is no hero & heroine because all the artists are screened as hero & heroine in their role. 7.Thoota tharani's sir set was awesome and he makes us to go back to 1000 years back. Ravivarman's sir cinematography was super. 8. Director Maniratnam and A.R.Rahuman's combo - no words to say , they as usual done a great job. 9.Every person in the world has to see this movie, because this movie delivers the 1000 years back history in current trend. 10. Ponniyan Selvan movie is not Mani sir's movie and it is our movie , we have to celebrate that. 11. We had seen many movies in theater without knowing the story, but in this movie PS-1, 40% of the people who had already read the story and the story also available as softcopy & Hardcopy in online. Who are and all read the book had their own imagination about the characters in that story , to fulfill all the persons expectations is not possible , but Maniratnam sir also done that job by fulfilling the expectations of each of them to the extent he is capable , while i had seen the persons talking in the theater about their imaginations about the each characters , they said it was a perfect role given to each artist. Finally , my heartful thanks to KAlKI KRISHNAMOORTHY sir and all other techinicians , assistant directors., singers , all artists ,producers,. workers ........ etc. who had worked and working for this movie.
