I grew up playing the harvest moon games. From the SNES until magical melody on the GC. I wanted to like this remake, I really did. The original on the PS1 was one of my favorites. Something just feels empty about the remake. I had just finished playing Stardew Valley about 2 months ago and in my opinion that game did everything right in a farming sim. Deep down I wish they woulda remade Magical Melody because that game had a lot more characters and things to do. Overall, it’s not a bad game but after I’m done playing it, I won’t miss it much.
