I had such high hopes... If I had never seen a movie before it might be watchable but otherwise it seems like Netflix made a movie with the sole purpose of "Netflix and chill" in mind. Even the insanely high CGI budget isn't enough to make up for the shallow and stereotyped characters, a plot line so predictable its reminiscent of a hallmark holiday movie and the inescapable feeling that you're watching a 2 hour trailer for a video game. If it wasn't for the acting cast giving 110% in every scene the whole movie would feel like a modernized satire/parody similar to spaceballs or "trump vs the Illuminati".
