This tries to replicate the chaos of the first CR season, but it suffers from the success that followed. What made C1 great was the characters all finding themselves, and the stupid mistakes they made as they tried to figure things out. There is just no room for any of that in this series thanks to the speed in which it moves, which considering they knew how much time they had to play with is a shame, why rush. So we are left with a series that has become just another product of Critical Role the Corporation. Stellar performance from Taliesin Jaffe, he is the standout in this.
