Back in the 60s many live albums were really disappointing because the technology was still progressing as far as getting a really great live recording goes. I was surprised how good this Woodstock set of CCR's sounds! In my opinion it's very welcome and the sound is so much better then the bands other two live albums " Live in Europe" and " The Concert" Although I really love all the CCR albums and all three live recordings . I have longed for something that sounds as rich and full as these Woodstock recordings sound. Now if we could just get John, Doug and Stu and Fantasy to release the show from the Forum in Los Angeles from 1970 with Heard it through the Grapevine on it..Than would be amazing!!!
