This has been my favorite book series of all time, for years I had hoped that they would make either a Tv show or a movie series although I knew from the beginning that it would be a tall order. When I found out it was finally happening I had to restrain myself because I knew no matter how hard they tried it wouldn’t be what I pictured in my mind, I knew that I had to watch this with an open mind. But even so it has fallen FAR short of what it should be... these characters are complete strangers from the descriptions given in the novels to achieve some racial and gender equality which was already more than represented in the original story. The pace of the story is atrocious and so many important details are being thrown aside and contorted to achieve ratings, I don’t know what to call this other than a perversion of a story that I have cherished since the first page I turned in a Library over a decade ago, my heart hurts to see such an immersive and beautiful storyline being destroyed for political agendas and money making... I will watch it in hopes that the writers will read the huge negative response from those of us that read the books, and hold truer to the storyline... but I don’t hold out much hope... words truly can’t describe how disappointed I am, even if Robert Jordan and Brian Sanderson wrote them themselves....
