I cannot overstate how grotesque this film is both in its message and makeup. Its a heck of a ride with some serious gore en route, a moral message on balance, and tremendous acting. Dennis Quaid steals every scene he is in - he carictures as a misogynist corporate executive as if he were born to play it. Of course, Demi Moore shines and that woman was committed to fleshing out this characters and she at first almost seems a miscast for a horror movie the likes of Cronenburg's The Fly/The Brood or Leviathan, but her story arc revolves supremely well as Elisabeth Sparkle. The ending is pure gonzo, bloody, and over the top to point it borders on humor. Great costume and makeup effects. Not for everyone. Hope this movie makes $$$
