Although the premise of the show is interesting, the practical application is lacking. Given the fact that this is an attempt at a quasi-reality show, in fact this show is more about the character of the author/narrator than it is about his subjects he is helping to rehearse. His own hangups and difficult social interactions reveal a character who is on his own journey throughout the show. It is encouraging to see him learn from his interactions while at the same time the cast of characters he has decided to help reveal how truly diverse people are. It also shows how people are so alone and struggle to create relationships due to in no small part their own beliefs, no matter how misguided those are. It was a good glimpse into humanity while at the same time showing us that our own lives are not so different. I give it 3 stars because overall the premise is interesting to watch but not captivating and I doubt I would invest any more time watching future episodes - assuming there are any.
