This film executed the found footage effect in the most interesting of ways. I applauded both Creep and Creep 2 for their masterful work using this same camera effect and I extend that applause on to M.O.M.
The title is a bit off putting but it did capture my attention while I was looking over horror titles on Prime. This film told an intense story between a deranged son and his desperate mother, their bitter rivalry and how they came to blows. This film also strayed away from guilt tripping the audience. You know, when the filmmaker wants you to feel somewhat sympathetic towards the big baddie? Not here. You're going to hate this kid all throughout this film, just don't fall for his tricks!
