I know some people think this show is exploiting little people and making them a spectacle but I don't think that's why most people watch it. I did first get interested because of the little person premise because it was different but any novelty of them being little went away quickly after watching it a while. I have never been interested in watching a bunch of plastic, rich ladies of Hollywood with their lifestyles that I am completely uninterested in. Oh look, here they are fighting on a yacht now as opposed to their mega mansion, wow.
The women of Little Women LA I actually can relate to because they are all different people with different personalities and income levels who do fun things and try different things and business ventures. And does the little person aspect come up? Yes, but I have learned more about little people and the aspect of their lives that are affected by being little than I ever even imagined. Like having a child born with double-dominant genes or how people in other countries like Russia feel about people with dwarfism or that Billy Barty the actor started the LP society of America (I didn't really learn that from the show but I got interested and read up on it) or how types of dwarfism can affect other things like your hair etc. like Jasmine deals with.
