I mean I've definitely seen way worse of movies, especially YA romances so this was honestly refreshing to watch a romance that wasn't actual garbage. Some of my top complaints - why does Tessa not lock her door? how is her mom able to straight up burst in? how did her mom even get into the dorm hall? - the dorm room looks like the most bougie dorm experience I've ever seen. Am I the only college student surrounded by concrete and tile from all sides? how does her room have so many windows? - why did Tessa and Hard-on start renting an apartment together? I get that her mom cut her off but her tuition should have been paid for the whole semester, they weren't gonna kick her out tf. U-Haul lesbians can take notes from this movie fr - it is insane to me that Noah tattled to Tessa's mom whenever something between them happened. Dating someone in high school while you're in college is bonkers to me but I've never dated anyone so maybe my opinion is irrelevant. - why are people saying this is smutty? maybe the book is but the movie certainly was not. lies and deceit.
