I honestly think that this production was made for us theater lovers who have been going through withdrawals since the theater world was shut down in March. I’m not going to say that I loved it because it had its problems. I thoroughly enjoyed the old and young Max. Loved that it was told with Max as the narrator. Yes, it was told through a different perspective and that’s okay. Can’t be compared to the original or Jim Carrey’s version. This was not a cartoon or a movie. It’s a musical!
