Everyone has different tastes, and Maybe I came into this expecting to much, comparing this to classic Spielberg like ET or the more recent Stranger Things, great stories. But imho this show is lame and awkward, which is a shame as it had so much potential. It is not to my taste. There is no chemistry between the young actors, which I don't blame them for of course. Their individual performances are good. The storyline is not cohesive. The dialog is mediocre. The high production quality, eighties call backs, occasional humor, and the action sequences and special effects are all that make the show barely watchable for me.
