This sincere adaptation of André Aciman's novel of the same name
(which i came across a month before the movie released ) changed my perspective on love.Since then i couldn't wait to see the movie( i did 2 months later) which was just as impressive as the book.
Unlike most gay romances with disappointing story-lines i never regret watching this even though i wish it had a better ending.
The lush landscape of Northern Italy and the soundtrack by Sufjan Stevens makes the movie enduring.
(it's been 4 months and i still can't get over this masterpiece )
