I've never written an audience review before, but my first one is going to be on this show! SpongeBob was one of my favorite shows when I was younger, and it still is! I was once scared of Plankton going inside SpongeBob in "The Inside Job" and the gorilla scene in "I Had an Accident", yet I've conquered my fears and I'm not as afraid of them as I used to be. Before the first movie, most of the episodes were fantastic and funny, but after the first movie, it began to drop in quality, bringing in terrible episodes such as "Boating Buddies", "A Pal for Gary", "One Coarse Meal", and "Yours, Mine and Mine". It seemed that the sponge we all knew and loved had changed into an annoying crybaby who wanted to "play" with Squidward every day. Luckily, it rose back to gold after the second movie, and even today, it remains a classic among kids and adults of all ages. Hopefully, the third movie will be at least tolerable, and the series will continue to thrive for years to come.
