This movie feels like the only reason it was made was to set you up for a sequel. Which makes me wonder, other than money grabbing, why did they make it at all?
It was awful, all over the place, and overused that bluish flashback filter they use in movies to show a flashback. The whole film might be a flashback, but for all intents and purposes, it's all taking place in one time, which makes it current time in the movie. No weird filter needed. I'm just glad I watched it on HBO Max and didn't pay to see it in theaters.
I would have given this one star, but the acting of you Tony was very good. The rest of the cast were painfully trying to act like the characters did on the show, bit it ended up seeming more like karaoke night but for acting.
