Steeltown Murders being based on the horrific true events, really is worth watching. I'd never heard of these murders, being born early 70's myself but after seeing it advertised, I knew I had to watch.
From the very beginning, the horrific way in which these three young women died, you want justice.
I can't begin to imagine how the families and the police at the time felt knowing it would take nearly 30 years and the science of DNA, to name the killer.
Phillip Glenister as always, excels in his roll as DCI Paul Bethall.
Well written, with the perfect mix of factual, scientific and emotion.
You can't but help feel hugely moved by the sheer time scale it took to get the result they so desperately needed.
I hope the families did find some closure after waiting so long.
