I binge watched the full series. It is extremely moving, harrowing and brutal which depicts history at that time and circumstance. Ciaran Hinds is as always,exceptional. It is filmed very cleverly flitting from past to present. This isn't just a war series,it's a love story and human. War and conflict defines the world's history and continues to do so sadly. A must watch.

Well what can I say? I watch a lot of different genres from science fiction to costume dramas. This is without doubt the dullest, boring, tedious, stupidest thing I've watched in a very long time. I can't believe I watched it all, possibly hoping for a thrilling ending or some sort of nonsensical explanation. Nope. Do not waste 4 hours of your life like I did. Watch paint dry instead!

Now I have never left a review about a film before. Please,please do not waste 120 minutes if your life watching this B movie rubbish.There are not enough words to describe how bad this is. A few are,boring,dull,predictable,tacky yaddah yaddah yaddah 🥱

What can I say but perfect, beautiful and lavish. From the very beginning Queen Charlotte draws you in with fantastic acting, stunning costumes and a lavishly shot production. It isn't only the love story of Charlotte and George but Reynolds and Brimsley with everyone in between, their loves, lives and turmoil. I cried buckets at the end, it is such a beautiful, very sad but fulfilling love that is shared. I highly recommend it whether you like period dramas or not, it is so beautifully written, an absolute must see. I defy you not to shed a tear! Enjoy.

Steeltown Murders being based on the horrific true events, really is worth watching. I'd never heard of these murders, being born early 70's myself but after seeing it advertised, I knew I had to watch. From the very beginning, the horrific way in which these three young women died, you want justice. I can't begin to imagine how the families and the police at the time felt knowing it would take nearly 30 years and the science of DNA, to name the killer. Phillip Glenister as always, excels in his roll as DCI Paul Bethall. Well written, with the perfect mix of factual, scientific and emotion. You can't but help feel hugely moved by the sheer time scale it took to get the result they so desperately needed. I hope the families did find some closure after waiting so long.
