Demon Slayer is basically a solid 5/10. It's perfectly average, and its writing fails to compare even to other mediocrity and popular shows clearly used as source material anyways. None of the characters stand out at all to me beyond trope embodiment complete with a Mary Sue who gets to rewrite the rules for how to kill a demon mid-show. She is the only character in the anime who kills demons via her method, making it entirely unique to her. She never loses nor suffers despite being nothing but passive-aggression in the entire series except the last episode where she'd already done sufficient damage to the show to make me dislike every scene she is in. Anything remotely related to people in-charge of the Demon Slayers is really pitiful content solely pertaining to eight idiots and two children. Also the 'best' episode concluded in a deus ex machina followed up with more deus ex machinas. Just, this show shouldn't be popular. It's barely a five out of ten, and all five of those awarded points are for the high-budget effects. The story, plot, and outcome are negligible aspects of the show, and yet they are all I had an interest in during episode one. So for me, this show is a 1/10 flop, yet objectively I call it completely average erring towards a 2/5 instead of 3/5. It doesn't deserve a 6/10.
