I thought it was a cute movie, but two things puzzled me. One Olympia Dukakis called her granddaughter ‘Matia mou’. That means ‘My eyes’ in Greek. Also the children called their grandmother Yaya. Grandmother in Greek is spelled Yiayia with the accent on the 2nd syllable. I figured that Dukakis, being Greek would’ve corrected them.

I think “Loving Leah” is probably my most favorite movie I have ever seen. Lauren Ambrose portrayed Leah with such genuine passion, and I still get a lump in my throat when I watch the movie. She portrays Leah with authenticity for her faith, and her ‘husband’ played by Adam Kaufman. A wonderfully touching movie.

This show has no point to it. The acting feels forced, the stories are boring. The writing is lousy. I expect it to be cancelled.
