This game is such a strange combination of extreme highs and extreme lows. There's tons of fun to be had here. The bosses, graphics, voice acting, and gameplay are all really great, but there's also so many design choices that make you wonder what the developers are smoking. The honor system in trials is trash. You spend all this time building your character just to die at full health because of a poorly designed arbitrary mechanic. The loot is terrible 99% of the time, which leaves you feeling like your time is being wasted instead of rewarded. The trading system is ripped straight of out a game from 2001, where you have to go to a website and send someone a message outside of the game, because god forbid they make an in-game trading system like every other developer has for the past decade. I understand this is in early access at the moment, but GGG would rather spend time nerfing people's builds than fix these fundamental issues with the game. Buy at your own risk.
