A Dune meets Star Wars with a twist of Riddick. I for one enjoy this genre. Visually stunning, although some of the acting is to be desired (not used to Charlie Hunnam with a Scottish accent).
The characters found in the resistance to the motherworld are quite unique with their talents. However the storyline suffers with the expedited characters added to the resistance and such feels rushed.
A bit pulp fiction with the back story on the main character, but otherwise for myself it's a rewatch. Looking forward to Part II.
