Kimani Nganga

The series was very intriguing. The human interest story is very riveting aided by the stellar acting by JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek. The themes portrayed like aging, grief, depression etc. are very relatable and they form a central component of the narrative - you almost forget you are watching a sci-fi. It was without a doubt one of the best TV series I've had the pleasure of watching lately. Just a shame that there won't be a second season.

The dialogue in most of the scenes is repetitive without contributing anything to the narrative. And most of the characters are just downright abhorrent, and purely for the sake of it - doesn't seem to add any value to the story. Sometimes it's so bad, it's comical - like that scene in the ambulance. Netflix shouldn't renew this series.

One big yawn. Countless overdramatized scenes - like why in heaven's name did we have to watch Alice Durand for minutes on end breaking out? And Nick's outbursts after Alice and Flynn are taken.... Yawn!!!
