This album was the first album that featured Sammy Hagar's replacement on lead vocal after being dismissed by band leader lead guitarist songwriter Ronnie Montrose. They brought in a San Francisco Bay native Bob James who had a voice style different from Hagar but a singing talent that worked well in the mix. The album has some handful of songs that are worth being favorites for the Montrose fans but wasn't nowhere close to their classic debut album self titled album Montrose. Nevertheless worth to have in the collection of Ronnie Montrose albums. This album would be the neculus of the their band Gamma in the late 70's and early 80's
