Maybe this adaption is little better if I'll compare it to previous anime adoptions . But still there are things that cannot be ignored. 1: the whole netflix adaptions feels like the story is in a rush . The characters are poorly developed . 2: one piece is notorious for it's comedy but here I don't see anyone laughing . Dammit there are no jokes . It's shocking . Luffy being stupid and funny is totally missing. 3: 150million goy spent on this !! Yea might be true . It must be similar like the movie adipurush where they spent 500 million on amazing CGI ( all puns Intended) . 4: They totally skipped all the iconic dialogues like when luffy meets aarlon for the first time . 5: the actors selected are okay but they need to act atleast a little for the audience. I have to watch the OG one piece to get out of this one piece world .
