Joey King does an absolutely amazing job in this series. I've loved her acting but this was more difficult of a job. She aced Gypsys personality so well. Although some scenes were a bit too raunchy for my liking, it had a very realistic feel. What a difficult story to tell and it was done expertly. I enjoyed the transitions in time from current past and even past past. It was very clear and didn't leave me confused.

I absolutely love this film. Was recommended it by my mother in law and it did not disappoint. Tom Hanks is an incredible actor. And the Spanish accent of the characters was so good. We were laughing, cringing and then crying. A beautiful movie and it's one of my new favorites.
