I was glad to hear this morning that a producer was saying to Joe through his ear piece to focus. If only he would listen. While I do like the show, I've got to say he is the weakest link. When he goes on a rant, over uses the usually uncredited 'southern lawyer' quote lifted directly from the Nixon impeachment or mumbles some inanity on baseball, the show grinds to a halt. If you watch the faces of his top notch supporting 'on air' staff, you see what must be the same expressions that are on the faces of the professionals who have to handle Trump when their boss begins to pontificate at a meeting, or worse, in public. Sort of like we all do with that dottering uncle at Thanksgiving dinners. I'm not anti Joe & do enjoy reading his published articles - the man can write. But I just wish there was less of his 'Howard Beale'-ish yap & more time allowed for his A-1 on air associates. Mika & Willie always keep things lively, moving & professional.
