Um, did I watch the same film that everyone else is praising? Cuz this dumpster fire I just sat through was definitely not "giving", as one person said. Edit: Nope, it actually was a different film called Bodom I watched. I've been had.

Never been a fan of the cartoon so I'm obviously not in its demographic. With that said, the acting is sub-par. Like, people behaving/speaking like animated characters.

This movie is so so so wrong on so many levels.

Blind bought this game based on the title alone. Soon realized that it was one of those stupid PvP games. You pay for the game but also have to pay for a monthly subscription to even be able to play it. No story mode to speak of. Waiting forever for enough players to begin a match just for the round to be over in a few minutes. Rinse and repeat. Also realized I wasn't getting my money back just because I downloaded the game. Lesson learned.

Typical cringey movie from the 2000's - and a poorly aged one at that.

Yeah, I'm gay but this movie lost me when they broke out into a musical number.

That Stranger Things kid annoys the living hell out of me.

Forgettable movie. Characters are poorly written (one main character doesn't even blink an eye when the octopus offs his wife), and big set pieces that should be exciting, like a run-in with boaters and the octopus, are laughable. I generally enjoy films from the "animals attack" genre, but this one didn't really hold my attention.

Well then. Ok, considering the era in which this movie was made, the "special effects" should not come as a surprise. Having said that, I was still tickled by how lousy this movie is. A "black hole" (sure, why not) crash lands on a farm and normal sized tarantulas pop out and start roaming around. You also see some larger ones hanging on webs that are clearly of the Halloween decoration variety. Along the way, a giant one appears and causes havoc around town while making the same type of sounds that Mothra does. This giant spider's design and execution is bad. I freaking mean it. It moves around via what I imagine is wheels with it's legs just waving around. At one point you can see the crane wires that are holding it up as it chomps on some poor schmuck. The locals decide to blow up this spider and the movie production even screwed that up badly. Like, the explosion is played backwards - you see billowing smoke and flames shrink down to nothing above the spider. I don't know if they were trying to indicate that the spider WAS the black hole or something (God, I hope not) but it really did not work. And then the spider dies anyway, presumably taking all the smaller ones with it. The end.
