Klara and the Sun is personally one of my favorite reads. Klara, an AF, or artificial friend depicts a unique character with unimaginable thoughts. I love this novel due to the imagery, the description of it's characters, setting, and the area genuinely draws in. I highly recommend this book, the plot is spectacular, if individuals wish to truly understand the book one must dissect its meaning. The meaning, the symbolism isn't straight up told to one is are required figure to it out for themselves, that's what makes this book so quality. The difference in personality of characters, their true intents, theories as to what happened to Sal or their father? Why were children lifted? Thinking, or theorising events that are rarely spoken about or forgotten. Klara worshiping the sun, Josie's sickness, Josie's AF, Sal's doll. Digging deeper, this book is truly a dystopian read. However, if there a bit additional darkness lurking around or numerous shocking moments this book would be perfect, the writing is able to keep individuals focused and getting absorbed in the books writing was a gift. 9.5/10
