Jane eyre and wuthering heights were given to me as a set by my grand mother. I have a 1943 edition with a signature Sydney Bell Breyman on the inside. I have kept these novels and treasured them Since the 1950s. I read them over again every few years. I love them!,,, I hope they don’t wind up cancel culture victims as did mark twain and other classics.
