The Witcher.... started out great. Went peak woke, then crashed and burned. If only the writers had listened to Henry Caville.

Interesting to say the least. Its a series with a main story and two rather irritating sub-plots. The main murder mystery, involving the cover up of child abuse, torture and rape at a boys home is a satisfying storyline, executed rather well. The sub-plot of a detective mother who is considering covering up an alleged rape, potentially carried out by her son tends to side track from the main story arch. The second sub-plot, that of a homosexual detective and his relationship with his former religion, the Jehovahs Witnesses is laughable, absurdly portraying the religion as stand over men who wield a bit of power.... both of these sub-plots seem to be filler, used to stretch out the main story. The cinematography is the real gem in this show, portraying the arrid Icelandic landscape as a character within itself, cold, barren and unforgiving. Credit to all of the actors here, they all do a fine job.

The three tele movies get a full five stars, they were superbly written, they were clever, sometimes dark and yet sprinkled with a surprising amount of humour. The series were terrible..... felt like they were written by a group of first year drama students.

Best American military film ever made. It's closely based on real events, with military personnel claiming its realism, As far as action movies go, this one has it all.

A beautiful movie, well acted, particularly Rush, who's narration is splendid. The harrowing events of the holocaust, persecution of the Jews, the paranoia that one would feel when one assumes that their neighbours are just looking for an opportunity to report them to an authority, and then said neighbours enjoying the satisfaction of seeing one mans justice destroying anothers very existence......and yet it's told in a pleasant manner, focusing on hope rather than despair. Apparently it deviates from the book, as most movies do, so depending on what sort of viewer you are, you could read the book first and possibly be disappointed, skip the book altogether and just enjoy the movie adaptation, or watch, having read the book, and accept that what is on the printed page, doesn't always work in a movie.

This is a great film, it made political predictions well ahead of its time. It's possible that it's low ratings are politically motivated.

Right up until series nine it was a fantastic show, with a great ensemble cast and interesting storyline Then it became clear that the writers were given instructions from their overlords to insert woke storylines. .....and one by one the original cast line-up began abandoning this sinking ship, as did the viewers.

Excellent series, almost on par with the ITV True Crime Drama series. Excellent cast, great production values, perfect sets. The use of repeated sex scenes as time filler is my only complaint, it's better when they just get on with the story.

Of all the movies, and all of the far fetched endings.... This movie has the most ridiculous.

Poorly written. Was there a writers strike at the time? Some talented actors, but so misused. A one word summary would be 'pointless'
