I loved reading this book. I have a great interest in living off grid and this book gave illustrations of some of the rewards of this lifestyle. Being in tune with nature, observing wildlife, and respecting the power of nature are a few of the pros the author points out. She did a great job detailing each character, animals, and capturing the feelings and emotions. I absolutely did not want to put this book down. It’s very captivating and has a surprising ending. I didn’t see that coming! I take my hat off to Scotland. You definitely can’t judge the book by the cover when it comes to Scotland. Bravo, bravo, bravo for Kimi Cunningham Grant!!! 👏
