While Hellboy (2019) is a clear contrast of its 2004 counterpart, both share an endearing quality to the demonic protagonist that makes the movies highly enjoyable to watch. Despite its negative reviews, I thought Neil Marshall's gruesome retelling of the story was applaudable and engaging. I hope this doesn't prevent any continuation of the series!
