It is beautifully shot and saturated with color, full of energy. I did struggle a bit once they introduced the prince and I could quite tell if the were paying homage to Minnie Driver's other Cinderella movie by having him sing Find Me Somebody to Love, by Queen. By the ball scene, however they had me. The mash up of Whatta Man and Seven Nation Army was fantastic. I did also love the nod to Pierce Brosnan's other jukebox musical and not letting him.
