John Grisham is by far the best thriller genre author, I have read THE PARTNER, LIAR LIAR, PRIVATE, THE ASSOCIATE and none of the titles failed to intrigue me , kept me on the edge till the end page. But Gray Mountain - it becomes tardy just after 4-5 chapters. Needless to say, in the beginning itself it was introduced that a bunch of north and south lawyers are going to fight the coal companies, due to some emotional wreckage or social impact. New york based samantha and county based Mattie , takes up cases and then it all messes up in between. I gave 1 star for the author and other for his efforts to pen down 461 pages. That's it.. If you are bored but want to read something, then pick this up or else just let it be
