A tragic death to a beloved franchise. The Disney overlords sucked the life and money out of the sequel trilogies and then left the corpse of Star Wars to rot in the sun. To be clear, I was excited to see the series finale. BUT... there was absolutely no coherent interesting plot, no character development, any plot that did exist was constantly contradicting itself. An absolute storytelling trainwreck. Actively retcons everything that happened in the previous movie... well... the previous 8 movies. Fan service sprinkled around a videogame plot. Disney will never be forgiven for this mangling of Star Wars. Heck, it made the prequels look good.

Massively meh. Nothing feels original and the scenes feel forced. We've seen this story thousands of times now. Let's get something from the High Republic or the New Republic, not the same overhashed rise of the empire AGAIN.

The acting was phenomenal, the pacing was awful. This could have (should have) been a two hour movie.

Beautiful animation, fun characters, interesting world-building, dreadfully boring plot. Honestly, they needed some musical numbers instead of spoken exposition.

TL;DR this should have been a 2 hour movie, not a 6 hour miniseries.
