Absolutely loved the movie. The visuals are breathtaking, almost divine. Anything around Bhoota Kola connects with me deeply as a Mangalorean and a Tuluva community person. This film truly hits differently. That said, I feel I have to watch it again. The narrative layers, symbolism, certain scripts, and the Paddanas need more focus to fully grasp. People outside Mangalore / KA coastal might actually find it a bit hard to follow in one go, and that’s understandable. One thing I personally felt was that the fight sequence was a bit lengthy, but apart from that, it’s absolutely worth watching. I honestly don’t get why there’s hate around it - it’s a powerful film that deserves appreciation.
