Can Hollywood produce any movie without an agenda?

Best comedy ever! Incredibly funny and soul touching at the same time. You don’t come across such genuine movie anymore. Steve Martin’s best movie ever. The ending is incredibly powerful. I truly hope our conservatives would have a wakening and abandon the lying showman as we know the trumpy dumpy who services no purpose to Christianity or our country, by watching this movie.

Just love this movie. Sounds like a shallow comedy, but some deep thought about truth of religion, science and religion. “Sinners and saints, all the same…” All need love and tolerance. One of my favorite line, “I believe in science”, such mockery towards some “enlightened” scientists whose limitation are their own ego with the vain ambition to replace religion with science. One enlightenment philosopher said men/humanity perceive truth like light distorted in own imperfections.

I love this movie. It is super funny. My favorite parts: when they asked the Dean for more funding or when she left academia. Such inside jokes. Lol. Erin is totally realistic! She can be intelligent and kind of silly at the same time. That is what makes her likable and humble at the same time.

Surprisingly good. Some good old clean romance. The view is spectacular. The plot is genuine and heart touching. All the characters are funny and super likable. Lily and Gede are great looking couple! When Lily said to Gede, “there is a moon and waterfall, but I can’t turn my eyes off from you”. Very romantic…

Did you really get the subplot of hidden romance? Of course, you have to check Chinese social media to understand the subplot. During the music festival, a girl said Ming (26 year old man) is so handsome in Chinese walking by his poster. The teenage boy said to the teenager girl, “now you own me another secret”, as she looked in shock staring at the poster. His father also told the girl’s parents that “my son will never do anything to your daughter”. The teenager boy also told the girl that he just can’t love her (actually ever). In the boy’s TikTok title, it says that my older “brother” (referring Ming) taught me how to be a DJ. It is not some teen love story as you think. Two adults in consent are fine, none of anyone’s business. Romanticize an adult man and a teenage boy, very uncomfortable for me as an audience. The film is deceptive.
