I'm glad I was able to get this book from a library, otherwise, I'd be furious about paying for it. Clearly, Grisham was just looking for a payday with this one, because it was full of needless "filler," and it lacked the imagination and depth of previous Grisham novels. And, apparently, he never created a suitable ending in his mind, because the book just stops - leaving the reader to wonder where the resolution is to the story that was crafted on the previous 400 or so pages. Perhaps to be continued in another Jake Brigance payday for the author......
