The music is good so gave it 2 stars, but if you actually like Dickens original this is not on the same level. The redemption of the unredeemable characters feels extremely shallow, how did they un-forge all their misdeeds against humanity in 3 weeks or better 3 hours I wonder. The movie essentially says to be good you have to love and be loved by someone… there have been many non-good people with spouses, that doesn’t make them good people. I’ll refrain from providing examples, as I feel google and a few mins time can confirm. The musical aspects were good and well executed, it’s the plot and the morals behind the movie that was lacking.

Not worth the time to watch it, through episode 5 and it’s just disappointing.
