Hilariously bad. Pike is a bumbling, pathetic melt. The rest of the crew are equally bad, from an unhinged and hateful first officer clearly only fit for a psych evaluation, through a nurse who is a bad caricature of a childrens cartoon character to a hugely dislikeable helmsperson, these characters are incredibly badly written and forced to act in a banal, unlikely way. The dialogue is equally embarrassing and despite the stunning visuals, this is quite possibly the worst thing put out by this dumpster fire of a franchise. The show wants you to believe that Trump and Maga started world war 3 - do you need to know anything else to avoid this like the cancer it is?
