Sophie Bartlett

I truly did like this book, but I found it to be slightly tiresome and predictable. Though, the atmosphere and tone is incredible - very tangible - despite it's numerous, usually darkening, shifts. The characters were all very vibrant, notwithstanding the strictly black-and-white theme! Things just seemed to move, simultaneously, too slowly, and too quickly. I do recommend this, however, to those, willing, to escape this mundane world, for about 500 pages.
